I am a bilingual (German/Norwegian) freelance translator based in Norway. I grew up and attended school in Germany and Norway and then studied Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Vienna/Austria, where I graduated with two bachelor's and two master's degrees. In addition, I have studied Legal Translation at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen/Norway and completed exams in the language combination German-Norwegian as well as Norwegian-German.
I have been working as a translator since 2006 and my experience covers many different areas such as technology (automotive, construction, medical, military, railway and software), pharmaceuticals, chemistry patent, legal, marketing, insurance, health, education, life science, interior design, computer games and gambling.
I mostly work with technical (automotive, engineering, medical, software), marketing and legal texts.
I am a member of NORFAG (Norsk fagoversetterforening) The Norwegian Association of Professional Translators
