Hello Everybody :)

My name's Salome and I'm a freelance translator. And love my freelance lifestyle very much.

Let me introduce myself to you as a professional. I have a fluent knowledge of English language, because I graduated from State Technical University of Georgia, (http://www.gtu.ge/english/index.htm) faculty of Translator-Interpreter.

I have excellent written translation skills and six-year experience, because I used to work as an administrative assistant for a long time and it was my main duty to make written translations. Also I often work on private orders on various subjects like technical, humanitarian, legal material, documentations, correspondence, letters, essays, etc.

Working as a freelancer:

** Since May, 2006 working with Texto Ltd Communication Services, Greece on mobile services subjects.

** Since December, 2006 working as a translator freelancer at the audio-video production studio “New Art Video” (subject area: documentary, popular science, feature, educational and historical films).

** Since February, 2007 Working as a translator freelancer at the translation house eTeams International Ltd. Ireland (Subject area: General, Letters, certificates, articles).

** For three months, (April – June, 2006) executing proofreading project with LidoLang Technical Translations s.c., Krakow, Poland (subject area: air systems).

As to Russian it is my second speaking language along with Georgian. Due to the nature of translations confidentiality was always required, so I am well respected in my profession as an upstanding, hard-working individual who can be counted on to "get the job done."

I have permanent access to the internet and I can offer you my assistance in translation by e-mail. I have fluent knowledge of MS Office programs. I'm willing to be flexible with hours when necessary and I’m able to meet deadlines. I have good organizational skills, strong sense of responsibility and I’m able to work/communicate at all levels.
