Experience gathered as a translator/interpreter
1983 - 1984: Translations of labels in technical drawings while working for a Food Machinery Company.
1984 - 1990: Tourist guide for German visitors in and around the Roman City of Bath.
1991 - 1992: German - English inheritance case (following German Unification): During this year I dealt with all written and spoken conversation to aid resolving the case to everybody's satisfaction. I also carried out interpretation duties connected with the job.
1996 - 2004: Freelance translations for a German Professor (Master of Public Administrations). The translations I carried out were subsequently used in International Conferences and were also published.
