Career / Experience

Born and educated in England, I subsequently moved to Italy and worked first in the field of maritime supply contracts and then as an exporter of industrial ceramics traveling to most parts of the world. From 1986 to 1996 I was a senior officer of a major american retail corporation, responsible for international purchasing, supply chain management and marketing. After returning to Italy I have assisted several italian companies with their internationational relations and contracts. My translating experience includes long periods of simultaneous interpretation in both directions, technical, scientific and medical research translations for publication, and the translation of art critique for exhibition catalogues. I live in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and am available for travel if required.
