English > German OR Japanese: Marketing surveys

We will be fielding three similar surveys in Germany and one in Japan.

The surveys will be similar in basic language with slight modification for specialty: Urinalysis, Chemistry and Amino Acid testing. Each survey quota will be set at 80 responders (40 customers / 40 non customers). The length of each survey is approximately 5 minutes with 5 open ended questions and one question requesting listing of ‘Brand Name” – (Brand Name translation not needed in Germany).



Would you please provide me with costs on the following?

Translation –

1) Translation of survey instrument

a. from English to German – One survey with three slight variations.

b. from English to Japanese – One survey

2) Translation of recruiting appeal

a. from English to German – One appeal with three slight variations

b. from English to Japanese – One appeal

3) Translation of verbatim responses

a. from German to English – 4 open ended questions

i. Total verbatim responses = 960

1. 80 responses per survey, three variations X 4 open ended questions.

b. from Japanese to English – 5 open ended questions

i. Total verbatim responses = 400

1. 80 responses per survey, one survey X 5 open ended questions.
