English <> Japanese: Translators needed for general material
We are an English language solutions company catering to non-native markets like Japan. We deal with translating both general and technical material across all subjects. We are looking for freelance EN to JP and JP to EN translators (either or both) who are:
1. Experienced translators of general material e.g. reports, brochures, short stories, business plans, website, tourist pamphlets etc.
2. Sincere, dedicated, and take deadlines seriously
Your work with us would involve material with general/non-technical themes:
a. You are required to be proficient in the use of TRADOS, or other such translation software, and provide rates commensurate with the percentage of Repetitions.
b. For projects where the client provides Translation Memory (TM), your rates will be decided according to the percentage of Match with TM.

- Subject Area you specialize in translating (e.g. tourist brochures, reports etc)
- Volume of work that you can handle (characters or words per day)
- Your rates per source language character/word in Japanese yen, and discounts provided for Repetitions and TM Match.
