Potential request for translation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)
Finnish > English: [Re-posting] Experienced English native linguists with experience in IT (Technical), General and E-learning subject areas needed
One of the leading localization companies in Europe, is seeking US/British English native linguists for a long-term cooperation.
Requirements are as follows:
• Language pair: FINNISH to BRITISH/US ENGLISH
• Type of service: REVIEW
• Native speaker of the target language.
• Relevant experience in IT (Technical), General and E-learning subject areas.
• Ideally a university-educated linguist, if not possible, at least 5 years or translation/review experience.
We need experienced and trustworthy reviewers who would support us regularly and check on the localized text to ensure consistency with client’s requirements. They will also help towards ensuring that the localized project reads as if written by a native.
A reviewer, who also is a dedicated translator in the particular language pair, can conduct the revision of the text made available to him in order to make corrections and include suggestions that will make such text stronger, at times incorporating previously overlooked ideas and/or addressing other concerns.
All instructions will be provided.
Candidates will be asked to do a SHORT TEST FOR FREE.
