1、 Introduction about products and product specifications
Products include mobile phone and accessories, wear (mainly watches and bracelets), smart home (router, wireless Wi-Fi, and smart speakers)
Products specifications refer to its selling points which will include some professional terminology (especially for Mobile Broadband project), and the style is flexible.
Requirements:
• The expression for product specifications should be attractive.
• Terminology should be translated accurately.
2、 Official website notice, service support, policy privacy etc.
Requirements:
• Understand the source accurately to avoid any potential legal risks.
• Fluent and high readability, avoid literal translation.
• Be sensitive for politically sensitive words.
• The style should be official, avoid colloquial.
Responsibilities
-Provide professional written translation from source language to native language
-Proactively good search of reference materials during translation, raise valid queries during translation
-Do final check according to PM's requirements
-Implement feedback if any
Requirements
-Native speaker
-3+ years of experience as a translator and solid background in localization market with proven experience in ICT & Legal or related domains
-Be proficient in English and has the degree in translation related major, or certified by a global organization such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC, etc.
-Be proficient in using CAT tool and check tool, like Trados Studio and xbench
-Be familiar with linguistic and cultural customs of the mother tongue-speaking country.
-Curious, quick learner and attentive to details
-Quick response, accept task in tight TAT
