My comment:

i.e. give the correct amount of impulse to obtain the desired muscle movement. Now that you know what it means, I'm sure that you can't find a good translation if this one is not elegant enough.

i.e. give the correct amount of impulse to obtain the desired muscle movement. Now that you know what it means, I'm sure that you can't find a good translation if this one is not elegant enough.
