see the link below - which shows a heated discussion on how to correctlz translate this expression. Another (single word) term for this expression is "Insichgeschäft" - see link below - which is allowed only in specific situations (§ 181 BGB) but can be aloowed in AGBs (as was done in the text you are translating - I assume).

I believe the above translation is easily understood by a foreigner who may have never heard of this (German) concept.
