Rosa (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Medical

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

sur clan droit

Context:

Poursuite de l'hépatotomie jusqu'à pédiculiser la pièce sur la veine sus-hépatique gauche qui sera contrôlée en intraparenchyrnateux sur clan droit.

My thoughts are that this is some sort of 'clamp' (typo)? Otherwise I've searched and still am unsure. Thanks.

Keywords:

HEPATECTOMIE GAUCHE

on/via/per right clamp

My comment:

=> ad "Vascular clamping in liver surgery"
cf https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2857838/
=> ad clampage - hépatectomie
cf https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1878786X15002387

[Sure, most likely typo, so "sur clamp droit" => clamper i.e. interrompre la circulation dans un conduit sanguin au moyen de pinces occlusives = de clamps]
[Att. à "intraparenchyrnateux" (typo!) => NB "intra-parenchymateux" (!)
