Oberstleutnant, Fregattenkapitän

My comment:

Oberstleutnant
(wenn es sich um die Marine handelt, ist der Begriff: Fregattenkapitän. Dagegen im Sanitärdienst heisst es: Feldarzt)

Sort of agree - but there is no such rank as "lieutenant colonel" in any English speaking navy.

I quite agree to this for "lieutenant colonel" - the rank "lieutenant corporal" doesn't exist, though! And in case it helps in the rest of the translation: beware of the various general's ranks: LIEUTENANT general ranks higher than MAJOR general.
